Hit up the Plymouth Art Weekender and was taking way out of my comfort zone with the WALK, HANDS, EYES event by Myriam Lefkowitz
I am going to take you by the hand and ask you to close your eyes…
Essentially you are guided around the city, mostly with your eyes closed, only opening them when prompted by your guide to reveal a snapshot of your surroundings. Mine included a mossy wall, 3 girls taking a selfie and a blue door. Ok, I'm not really selling it but it was insane what your ears pick up when wandering around blind. A very cool, albeit it weird experience. Looking forward to next years event.
We also decided it would also be a good idea to stay overnight.....in a tent.....in September. It obviously pissed down all night, however the sun came out Sunday morning and we hit up some of the local coast line to engorge on cream teas, ice creams, arcade machines and smash out some pebble skimming. Fuck yeah!
